Welcome to the MPH Career Advising Program page! This platform serves as a hub of resources and support for students and alumni of the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. Our program is designed to provide comprehensive career guidance and assistance to help you succeed in your public health career.

OBJECTIVES

  • Assist students in developing their career paths within the field of public health.
  • Provide guidance and support in career planning, job searching, and professional development.
  • Foster connections between students, alumni, and potential employers to facilitate networking and job opportunities.

CONTENT

  1. Career Resources: Access a wide range of resources related to career development in public health. This includes resume and cover letter templates, interviewing tips, networking strategies, and guidance on navigating the job market.

  2. Workshops and Events: Stay updated on upcoming workshops and events organized by the MPH Career Advising Program. These may include resume-building workshops, mock interviews, networking events, and opportunities to interact with professionals in the public health field.

  3. Individual Advising: Schedule one-on-one advising sessions with our dedicated career advisor, Dr. Miguel E. Marrero, PhD, MPH. These sessions can cover various topics, including career planning, CV/resume review, interview preparation, exploring job or internship opportunities, and more.
